Your images stay on your device

When you add an image, it is processed by your own browser. We do not upload, receive, store, or view your images or the results.

What is downloaded to your device

To remove backgrounds with AI, your browser downloads the model and engine files from a content delivery network operated by IMG.LY the first time you use that feature. These files are then cached by your browser. That download is a request from your device to their servers, so they can see technical information such as your IP address, as with any web request. No image data is included in it.

Information we and our providers receive

• Web server logs. Our hosting provider (Hostinger) records standard technical data when you load a page, such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and time. This is used to deliver the site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems.
• Fonts. Pages load fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google that includes your IP address.
• Messages you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and we use them only to reply.

How we use information
